Warhol's Norma Jean Baker aka Marilyn Monroe
The famous Campbell Soup piece. I guess Warhol became notable for his work in transforming the everyday mundane into something new and fanciful.
Does it work for you?
A model of some crazy building that's going up in Beijing.
Do you see me?
Pollock: The She-Wolf (1943)
Probably the coolest Pollock that was on display.
More Pollock.
I think I've seen this at the Red Robin in the mall.
Did you recognize it as a map of the U.S.?
At first, I was like. "Um, ok. A stool and a wheel..." Then Jenn pointed out that the shadow it casts makes a bicycle!
Do you see it?
Life is Art.
Some random pieces that caught my fancy.
Light bulb?
This was called "The Pharisees".
I call this one "Lampshades".
Jenn really liked this one. I think it was called Dynamism of a Soccer Player.
I don't see it, do you?
Isn't that a tagalog word?
Some cool photos from the photography floor. I like the juxtaposition of opposites here.
This guy was walking along the street when a power line snapped and fell on him. Although badly burned, he survived.
Do you see Jenn's silhouette? Kinda creepy, isn't it?
This is how I was feeling by the end of the day.
