Okay, so MoMA was just so cool that I had to share some more of it. This is some of the more contemporary stuff (post WWII-ish).

Warhol's Norma Jean Baker aka Marilyn Monroe



The famous Campbell Soup piece. I guess Warhol became notable for his work in transforming the everyday mundane into something new and fanciful.

Pollock: The She-Wolf (1943)
Probably the coolest Pollock that was on display.

I think I've seen this at the Red Robin in the mall.
Did you recognize it as a map of the U.S.?



At first, I was like. "Um, ok. A stool and a wheel..." Then Jenn pointed out that the shadow it casts makes a bicycle!

This guy was walking along the street when a power line snapped and fell on him. Although badly burned, he survived.
Do you see Jenn's silhouette? Kinda creepy, isn't it?
